Website Redesign

DOVER is an American conglomerate manufacturer of industrial products. Chartis worked with their sub-companies, VSG, CDS and MPG to redesign and build their new web experiences.

The Challenge

MPG (a sub-business of Dover Corp.) engaged the Chartis team to lead design efforts in preparation for the redesign & CMS replatform of MPG’s mpgdover.com site. The primary objective of MPG’s engagement was to rapidly consolidate 6 domains into a single domain to support the B2B customer journey and drive leads.

The Solution

Chartis was able to synthesize requirements into an Experience Brief, which consolidated disparate inputs from MPG into site redesign goals, user segments, information architecture (IA) artifacts and use cases. We developed conceptual directions for the new site and built in efficiencies to detailed design by creating UI component libraries that could be leveraged across page templates. This led to a streamlined and efficient development process getting the site released before the planned launch date.
